The Center for Biomedical Research Network is a consortium that depends on the Carlos III Health Institute (Economy and Competitiveness Office). Since 2006, the NUO group is part of the thematic area of ​​obesity and nutrition (CIBERobn), which is composed of 33 national research groups of proven scientific excellence which focus on the study of obesity, nutrition and physical exercise.
